On 1st January 2017 the revised ADR regulations governing the transport of dangerous goods by road will come into force.

Some of the key changes will be:

  1. Amendments to allow the use all the gaseous fuels for vehicles carrying dangerous goods. That is LNG, CNG and LPG;

  2. Changes to the DGSA requirements - which from the 2019 edition of ADR will cover the consignor;

  3. New UN entries and special provisions for engines and machinery; new UN entries and special provisions for vehicles and equipment powered by liquid fuels or battery power; and

  4. Amendments to the requirements for the carriage of lithium batteries. And importantly damaged/defective lithium batteries

In order to better understand these key changes we shall be running a webinar at 10.00am on 8th December 2017 which will last about 1 hour.
