Carriage of Dangerous Goods Notices

Carriage of Dangerous Goods - 'Prohibition Notices issued by Police or Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) or Department for Transport'

Whilst the HSE publish the results of enforcement activities reported to them by the Police and DVSA (formerly VOSA) under Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations 2009 (SI 2009 No 1345 – known in short as CDG2009), the results are published by the HSE as a separate Excel spreadsheet for each month.

A consolidated version of these, since January 2012, has been prepared by BADGP Committee member Desmond Waight and is made available via this website. You can download Desmond's Excel file by clicking on this link: Carriage of Dangerous Goods notices.

HSE are aware of, and have appreciated this consolidation, which is being made available in the hope that it will be of assistance to DGSAs and others with an interest in the transport of dangerous goods.

Though care has been taken, please note this consolidation is being made available without any representation that is official and accurate, so please check carefully.

It will be updated when further data is posted on the HSE website. Note: These do not get posted for some months after the checks took place, to allow for any appeals to be registered and resolved prior to posting.

Please note: The list is ordered with latest data at the bottom of the listing. This is to facilitate future updating and lessen risk of errors when transcribing the latest month’s data from the HSE website. A quick link to take you to the last of the most recent additions is provided at the top of the file.

BADGP is unique in several ways: no other organisation represents individual professionals working in the dangerous goods area in any function, including, but not limited to, Dangerous Goods Safety Advisors. It covers all major modes of transport. Members from outside Great Britain are positively welcomed (but all meetings are held in GB).
