If you work in Dangerous Goods, BADGP can provide you with a number of means of support.
For a Question and Answer Forum, BADGP is operating a ‘discussion group’ through LinkedIn.
The LinkedIn discussion group aims to provide a response to those who have a question, often one of detail, which needs to be addressed quickly. The discussion group allows others to see the questions, who can then provide direct responses.
If you use LinkedIn, click the ‘Group’ tab and go to the group called “British Association of Dangerous Goods Professionals” or click on this link to be taken directly to the page BADGP LinkedIn Group, then click on the "Ask to join" button.
If you do not yet use LinkedIn, it is easy to join through www.linkedin.com/secure/register.
BADGP publishes a newsletter, approximately every quarter. The newsletter is published to all of our members and aims to inform and update them on any matter relating to Dangerous Goods, reviews of our past events and announcements of future events.
Articles included in the last few newsletters have included:
We actively welcome articles from our members and non-members. Articles can be short snippets of news / updates or fuller contributions. We also welcome photos and graphics. The articles cannot be overtly commercial or of a selling nature, but can, of course, mention your company name, website, etc.
We are publishing our next newsletter at the end of September 2017, so please let us have your articles for consideration before about mid-September. Please email contributions to email@example.com supplying the text in any mainstream word processing format and graphics as jpg, png, gif, etc.
Presentations From Seminars & Other Events
Information: The Annual General Meeting: our AGM is not so much an AGM as a full day’s seminar. It kicks-off with the formalities of the AGM itself, but this is followed by several presentations from people well-known in the transport of Dangerous Goods.
